Pan-Roasted Steak and Bulgur Salad

  • 1 (12.2) ounce bag Dole® Chopped! Applewood Bacon salad kit
  • 1 cup cooked bulgur
  • Toppings Included: bacon crumbles, shredded white cheddar cheese and green onions
  • Included Dole® Applewood dressing
  • 2 beef shoulder tender steaks, about 1 pound
  • To taste Salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or oil
Pan-Roasted Steak and Bulgur Salad


For salad

Combine salad kit, cooked bulgur and included toppings.

For steak

Preheat oven to 400⁰F.

Season shoulder tenders with salt and pepper. Melt butter or oil in a large, oven-safe skillet. Sear steak for 2 minutes on each side. Transfer steak to the oven and roast until the internal temperature reaches 1458–10 minutes Let steak rest 3–5 minutes before slicing. Serve on salad.
