Amount Per Serving:
- 1 pound 93% lean ground beef
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 leaves romaine lettuce
- 8 slice sourdough bread, toasted
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Combine first 4 ingredients and mix lightly.
- Shape into four- ½ inch thick patties.
- Place patties on the grill and cook, uncovered, 13 to 15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F, turning occasionally.
- Do not press down on the burgers; this will reduce the juiciness.
- Place one lettuce leaf on four of the bread slices, top with burger and cheese.
