Amount Per Serving:
- 4 beef tenderloin steaks, cut 1 inch thick (about 4 ounces each)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 Cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 Tbsp green onion
Combine garlic, thyme, and pepper; press evenly onto beef steaks.
Place steaks on grill over medium, ash-covered coals.
Grill, covered, 10 to 14 minutes (over medium heat on a preheated gas grill, 11 to 15 minutes) for medium-rare (145°F) to medium (160°F) doneness, turning occasionally.
Meanwhile, combine horseradish cream ingredients (horseradish, sour cream, and finely chopped green onion) in a small bowl; refrigerate until ready to use.
Serve steaks with a small dollop of horseradish sauce.
